Our Story
The Colorado Intertribal Policy Alliance exists to advocate for and advance policies that strengthen the sovereignty, self-determination, and well-being of Native peoples across Colorado. We build collective power by centering Native voices in legislative processes, holding policymakers accountable, and fostering collaboration among Native leaders, organizations, and allies.

Become a Member
Join the Colorado Intertribal Policy Alliance to help strengthen Native voices in Colorado policy and advocacy. Membership connects you with a network of community leaders, provides opportunities to shape our policy agenda, and supports efforts to protect and advance Native rights across the state.

Our Endorsements
CIPA’s endorsements highlight candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment to Native communities, sovereignty, and equity in Colorado. Our process is rooted in community values: candidates are invited to engage with our board and membership through questionnaires or interviews, followed by a membership vote. Endorsed candidates reflect voices and policies that uplift Native peoples across the state.
